1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by CarGo Rentals ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the service.

2. Rental Requirements

  • Age: Renters must be at least 21 years old. An additional surcharge may apply for renters under 25.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license held for at least one year is required. International renters must present a valid license from their home country and an International Driving Permit if their license is not in English.
  • Payment: A valid credit card in the renter's name is required for payment and security deposit.

3. Vehicle Use

  • The rental vehicle must only be driven by the authorized renter(s) listed on the rental agreement.
  • The vehicle must not be used for illegal purposes, racing, off-roading, or towing.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles. A cleaning fee will be charged if evidence of smoking is found.
  • Pets are not allowed in vehicles without prior approval and may incur additional cleaning fees.

4. Rental Period and Returns

  • The rental period is calculated on a 24-hour basis. Late returns may incur additional charges.
  • Vehicles must be returned to the agreed-upon location at the specified time.
  • Fuel Policy: Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. Otherwise, a refueling charge plus the cost of fuel will apply.

5. Insurance and Damages

  • Renters are responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period, regardless of fault.
  • We offer various insurance options. It is the renter's responsibility to ensure adequate coverage.
  • In case of an accident or damage, the renter must notify CarGo Rentals immediately and provide all necessary documentation.

6. Cancellations and Modifications

  • Cancellation policies vary based on the booking type and time of cancellation. Please refer to your booking confirmation for specific details.
  • Modifications to bookings are subject to vehicle availability and may incur additional charges.

7. Limitation of Liability

CarGo Rentals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; (iii) any content obtained from the service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country/State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
